Essays on Modern Waka

In this section I am including some short essays that deal with issues about the philosophy and writing of modern waka.

These essays do not tell how to specifically set up a verse, for that is done on Mountain-Home, our internet site for writing modern waka. Rather they deal with issues of mindset and the necessity to look at experience from a different viewpoint in order to accomplish the spirituality that underlies and gives depth to modern waka.

Most importantly, I hope they will make readers think and analyze their own positions.
